Gil Lourenço, to whom some authors have added the surnames Gomide or Miranda, was Governor of Miranda do Douro, magistrate in Guimarães, vassal and Royal Keeper of the Barley, Judge of the brotherhood of the Serviço de Santa Maria (Guild of Notaries). Resided in Guimarães in 1404. Married to Joana Gonçalves Raleu, who created the Morgado de São Miguel in São Clemente de Sande.
Painted coat of arms: quartered of Machado, Miranda, Gomide and Maia. Bordering the shield, the carved legend: Created by Gil Lourenço, knight and servant of king Dom João.
