Cover of tomb: Here lies Afonso Vieira and his granddaughter M (damaged). The inscription overlaps a scallop (from the Vieira family coat of arms) and the monogram of its founder.

Burial chamber for Alfonso Vieira, «most honourable man of Guimarães» and, quite possibly, for his granddaughter Mécia Brás da Maya (daughter of Guiomar Vieira and her husband Diogo Machado da Maya).
