Sculpture representing Saint Peter with his iconographic symbols: the key and the papal tiara.
One of the first apostles called by Jesus was Simon the Greatest. The Lord gave him the name of Peter, symbol of the role he would play in the building of the Christian church.
This is a production of the workshops of the centre of the country that was stowed because when the new church was built, the parishioners acquired another sculpture representing Saint Peter, the patron saint of that parish of Pedome.
