This chalice, of circular base and flat hemispherical bowl, has the base decorated with lobes that alternate acanthus leaves and tulips. The knop is decorated with lozenges with flowers, surrounded by acanthus leaves.
This chalice presents great likeness to two other chalices that belong to the collection of the Museum (MAS O 36 and MAS O 152), revealing the continuity of the Romanesque models, in a production of great simplicity and lacking creativeness, certainly more accessible, in terms of costs, to the religious communities that acquired them.
