This painted wood ceiling has nine caissons with a yellowish background. The decoration is composed of greyish geometrical motifs and naked children. This is a late specimen of the decorative language of the grotesque, with acanthus shaped scrolls surrounding, in the main medallion, the arms of the family who owned the chapel – the Nápoles.
